| Mr. Goodale traveled throughtout the west finding short cuts from point "A" to point "B" along the Oregon Trail. He led a wagon train to Cambridge Idaho area, told them that all they had to do was drop off the slope, cross the Snake River and they could go from there on into the Pine Valley and could follow roads leading on into the Baker Valley and beyond. Mr. Goodale then left and went to Montana. The group made it, but had to build their own road, as none existed, Goodale's name appeared on various roads throughtout the west. |
